If you’ve never grown garlic before, Music is the perfect place to start and if you have, you know why it's a favorite! Our family grows Music Hardneck Garlic every year, and it never disappoints. This variety produces big, beautiful bulbs with 4–7 large cloves each and it's incredibly reliable in the garden.
Music garlic has a rich, robust flavor that’s pungent but not too hot—perfect for cooking, roasting, or drying into garlic powder (like we did with our summer-harvested scapes!). It thrives in a wide range of climates and is known for being a prolific producer.
Plant in the fall before the ground freezes (by November)
Harvest in late July to early August
A pound is approximately 9 bulbs—plenty to plant and enjoy all year long!
