Each order includes a trio of Jumbo Quart Munstead Lavender, expertly grown and garden-ready. Munstead is an excellent choice for borders, cottage gardens, containers, and fresh or dried arrangements. It blooms early, stays nicely compact, and is one of the most cold-hardy English lavenders.

How to grow lavender:

Lavender thrives in full sun, at least 6–8 hours per day. More sun means stronger plants and better blooms.

Well-drained soil is essential. Lavender prefers light, sandy or loamy soil and does not like wet or heavy clay. Raised beds or amended soil improve success.

Water regularly during the first growing season while roots establish. Once established, lavender is drought tolerant and prefers soil to dry slightly between waterings. Overwatering is the most common issue.

Space plants 12–18 inches apart to allow good air circulation and prevent disease.

English lavender varieties are cold-hardy and reliable in Ohio, making them a great long-term garden investment. Lavender blooms in late spring through early summer, with possible repeat blooms when trimmed.
